Import vector drawings and images

File → Import (Ctrl+I) accepts supported engineering files and images.

1. Select .mhcad, .mhg, DXF, DWG, PDF, PLT, AI or a supported image; follow any format or PDF page prompts.
2. Check size, closed outlines, internal holes and reference geometry. Open lines remain editable but are not ordinary nesting parts.
3. For images, recognise contours and calibrate a known edge to its real millimetre length in the image calibration editor.
4. Repair the boundary and confirm. Ctrl+K calibrates the whole drawing using a known straight edge when the imported scale is wrong.

This website provides instructions only. Carry out every drawing, transfer and machine operation in the installed software. Website links cannot home, jog, start, pause or stop a live machine.
